Our Beliefs
Follow this link to learn more about what we believe. We have a strongly Bible based approach to our understanding of the Gospel. We understand the Bible to be the only inspired word God and as such we reject doctrines that come from later traditions, which are not found in the Bible. For example one tradition has it that souls go to heaven at death. The Bible does not teach this and in fact flatly contradicts the teaching both of the immortal soul and heaven going at death:
No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. (John 3:13 )
"Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son
is Mine;
The soul who sins shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4)
However the Gospel revealed in the Bible is very much one of hope for the believer.
