What is Baptism?

Baptism is the act of being fully immersed in water as an outward sign of repentance.

It is a symbolic association with Jesus’ death and resurrection. Anyone can be baptised, as long as they have a basic understanding of the Bible message and truly want God’s forgiveness.

“…as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” -Romans 6:3-4
